Not of Us

For the crew of the B-29 bomber, The Painted Lady, the island near where they crash landed, offered hope for their survival. Even the discovery of a Japanese garrison on the island did little to dash their hopes of a speedy recovery.

Lt Arata, the Japanese commander, is battling dysentery and low morale, the result of their obvious abandonment by the emperor. They haven't seen a supply boat in over three months, and the medical supplies they need are running dangerously low. The discovery of the Americans reinvigorates his command, and they set out to capture the crew.

It isn't long before the crew of the Painted Lady learn the Japanese are the least of their worries. One of their gunners is infected by something they don't understand and Captain Davidson is confronted by an age-old dilemma.

Allow his men to be rescued, and risk releasing an infection that could destroy everything they hold dear or keep them on the island forever.

Would you be willing to give up your life to save the world?
